Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions explain how you may use the Cerebus Art website and what to expect from the information we publish about educational toys, creative play and family purchasing decisions.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Cerebus Art, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to the Cerebus Art website, its articles, guides, pages, emails and other content we make available through the site. We may provide additional terms for particular features or services; those terms will apply where they are presented.

2. Informational and educational content

Cerebus Art publishes general educational and consumer information for families and caregivers in the United States. Our content is intended to support research and thoughtful decision-making, not to replace a product’s instructions, a manufacturer’s safety information or advice from a qualified professional.

Content about play, learning or child development is general in nature. It is not a medical, mental health, therapeutic, educational-placement or other professional evaluation of any child.

3. Use your own judgment

Children differ in age, ability, interests, supervision needs and surroundings. A toy or activity that is suitable for one child may not be suitable for another.

Before buying or offering a product, you are responsible for reviewing the current age recommendations, choking and other safety warnings, included materials, recall information and manufacturer instructions. You are also responsible for providing appropriate supervision and deciding whether a product or activity fits your circumstances.

4. Accuracy and availability

We make reasonable efforts to publish useful, clear and current information, but we do not guarantee that every article, price, availability detail, image, link or other piece of content is complete, accurate, current or free from errors.

We do not guarantee that content will be appropriate for every child, family, location or situation. Products, recommendations, safety guidance and manufacturer information may change after publication. If you find a possible error, please contact us through our Contact page or email contact@cerebus.com. Our Corrections Policy explains how we handle reported issues.

We may change, update, suspend or remove content or site features at any time. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or free of technical problems.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the original text, organization, graphics and other materials created for Cerebus Art belong to Cerebus Art or are used with permission. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and print reasonable portions of the site for personal, noncommercial use. You may link to a Cerebus Art page using an accurate description of the linked content. You may not copy, republish, sell, modify, distribute, scrape, frame or create a substantially similar collection of our content without prior written permission, except where applicable law allows it.

Product names, trademarks, logos, photographs and other materials belonging to manufacturers, retailers or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Cerebus Art lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the site or harm other users. You may not:

  • Use the site to violate applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems or another person’s account or information.
  • Introduce malware, harmful code or disruptive activity.
  • Use automated tools to copy or collect site content in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the site or bypasses access controls.
  • Impersonate Cerebus Art, the Cerebus Art Editorial Team or another person or organization.
  • Submit or transmit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, deceptive, infringing or intended to harm others.

We may restrict or end access to the site when reasonably necessary to protect the site, our users or others, or to address a violation of these terms.

7. Third-party links and products

Cerebus Art may link to manufacturer, retailer, publisher, public agency or other third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and additional information. We do not control or endorse every third-party site, and we are not responsible for its content, availability, privacy practices, security, prices, policies or transactions.

A link does not mean that Cerebus Art has tested, approved or guaranteed the linked product or service. Any purchase, account creation or other interaction with a third party is between you and that third party. Review the applicable terms, privacy policy, product details and safety information before proceeding.

8. Advertising and affiliate relationships

Some pages may contain advertising, sponsored placements or affiliate links when applicable. If you make a purchase through an affiliate link, Cerebus Art may receive compensation at no additional cost to you. Compensation does not guarantee that a product will be included or recommended, and it does not change our responsibility to present information honestly.

See our Advertising Disclosure for more information. We also explain our broader editorial standards in our Editorial Policy.

9. No warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cerebus Art is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the site or its content, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cerebus Art and the Cerebus Art Editorial Team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.

This includes decisions about purchasing, supervising, using or relying on a product, activity, recommendation or third-party website. You remain responsible for checking current product information and making decisions appropriate for your family. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions as the site, our practices or applicable requirements change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after a revised version is posted means that you accept the revised terms.

12. Contact us
